Okay, so I wanted to mess around with some old NBA rosters, and the 2013 Utah Jazz team caught my eye. Figured I’d share my little journey digging into this.

Gettin’ Started
First thing I did was just a basic search, you know, just typed in “2013 Utah Jazz roster” to see what would pop up. I wanted a quick overview, just to see the main names.
Finding the Players
Got a bunch of results, a lot of sports sites listing the players. I wanted to find out the key players of the roster.
- Gordon Hayward: He seemed like one of the bigger names on that team.
- Al Jefferson: Another guy that popped up a lot, looked like a solid inside presence.
- Paul Millsap: I remembered him being a good player around that time, too.
- Mo Williams The point guard.
- Enes Kanter: He come into it.
Those were a few of the names that kept showing up. Looks like a team with some decent talent, but maybe not quite a championship contender.
Deep Dive into Stats
After getting the names, I wanted to check some stats. You know, points per game, rebounds, assists, that kind of stuff. Just wanted to see how these guys actually performed that year.
So I go on open one of the many sites for players’ stats. The 2012-13 season for Hayward, Jefferson, and the others. Just clicking around and see the numbers. It’s kinda fun to see how their seasons went.
Putting It All Together
So after looking all of * give me the full image about the 2013 Utah Jazz roster. The key players and also their performence.
It’s kinda cool to go back and look at these older teams. You see the names you remember and some you forgot about. Reminds you of how much the league changes year to year. I’m just a total data nerd when I do it.
