Alright, folks, gather ’round! I got a story for ya, and it’s about how I snagged a Rickie Fowler autograph. Now, I’m a huge golf fan, and Rickie’s one of my favorites, so getting his autograph was a big deal for me.
It all started when I saw an ad online about some autographed Rickie Fowler photos. These weren’t just any photos, they were 8×10, glossy, and looked super cool. I thought to myself, “I gotta have one of those!” So I hopped online, browsed through a bunch of options, looking for the perfect picture. They had everything, from photos of him at the PGA Tour to some cool action shots. I finally found one that I liked.
- It was a picture from the Phoenix Open, my favorite tournament.
- Rickie was in his signature orange, looking all focused and ready to go.
I added the photo to my cart and completed the purchase. Next I sent a request to Mr. Fowler on 4/26/2017 for him to sign a picture from the Phoenix Open. But, I didn’t get anything back for a long time. I was starting to get a little worried. I mean, Rickie’s a busy guy, playing on the PGA Tour and all, but I still was getting antsy. I decided to follow up. I sent another message, just a friendly reminder, hoping to get a response.
And then I checked the mail a few weeks ago. There it was, a package with my name on it. I ripped it open and bam! There’s the photo, and right there, clear as day, was Rickie Fowler’s autograph. It was awesome! The signature was bold and clear, right across the bottom of the photo. That made me smile from ear to ear.
My Thoughts
This whole experience was pretty cool. It took some patience, but it was totally worth it. Now I’ve got this awesome piece of memorabilia that I can show off to my buddies. I framed it, and it’s hanging up in my living room. This reminds me that even big-time golfers like Rickie still take the time for their fans. Also, this reminds me of his career, which, I hear, has earned him something like $45 million on the PGA Tour and about $15 million a year in endorsements. I also learned that he was once the number one ranked amateur golfer for 36 weeks, back in 2007 and 2008. That’s some serious golfing history right there, hanging on my wall. And did you know he’s got six tattoos? I spotted that “G” on his elbow in the photo, pretty neat.
So, there you have it. That’s how I got my hands on a Rickie Fowler autographed photo. It’s a story I’ll be telling for a while, and it’s a great addition to my collection. If you’re a golf fan, or a fan of Rickie’s, I definitely recommend trying to get an autograph. It’s a great way to feel connected to the sport and your favorite players.
