Okay, let’s talk about this whole ACC vs. SEC thing in college football. I decided to keep a record of it this year, just to see how it all played out. It wasn’t some big, fancy project, just something I did for myself.
Start of the Season
I started at the beginning of the regular season. Every time an ACC team played an SEC team, I made a note of it. I used a simple spreadsheet to keep track – nothing complicated, you know? Just the names of the teams, the date, and the score.
Keeping Up with the Games
It was kinda fun, actually. Every weekend, I’d check the scores and update my little sheet. Some weeks there were a bunch of games, other weeks just one or two. I didn’t get too scientific about it. If a game happened, I wrote it down. I also created some separate sheets to list the records of each team in the two leagues against each other.
Mid-Season Observations
Around the middle of the season, I started noticing some patterns. A few teams were doing really well, others… not so much. It was interesting to see how things were shaping up. I wasn’t making any predictions or anything, just observing.
End of the Regular Season
By the time the regular season wrapped up, I had a pretty decent record of all the games. I saw that the ACC had a 6-4 record against the SEC during the regular season. That was kinda cool to see, especially since I wasn’t expecting any particular outcome.
Bowl Games
Then came the bowl games. I kept tracking those too. It got a bit wild, with a lot of games happening close together. I did my best to keep up. It turned out that out of 13 bowl games, only two ACC teams won – Louisville and Syracuse. All the other ACC teams lost their games. It was a bit of a letdown for the ACC, to be honest.
Final Thoughts
So, that’s my little record-keeping project for the year. It wasn’t anything groundbreaking, but it was fun to do. I got to see how the ACC and SEC stacked up against each other, and it was interesting to follow the games from start to finish.
In the end, I just did this for myself, to satisfy my own curiosity. No big analysis or anything, just a simple record of ACC vs. SEC games this year. Maybe I’ll do it again next year, who knows?
