Okay, so, I’ve been digging into this “Lost Caverns of Ixalan” thing for a while now, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey!
First off, I wanted to get my hands on all the cards, you know? So I started checking out this website that had a list. They had everything, it was crazy. Prices, different versions of the cards, even the history of the card prices. It’s a lot to take in, honestly.
I spent a good chunk of time just browsing, clicking on different cards. I’m trying to build a few different decks, so I wanted to see what was out there. There are so many cards! They got these new artifacts and lands, which is pretty cool. It felt like going down a rabbit hole.
- I started with a basic idea, like, I wanted to build a deck around, say, a forest theme, which is in the Lost Caverns of Ixalan, there were details about it.
- Then, I’d look at the cards that fit that theme and see how they could work together.
- I wrote down some notes, trying to figure out the best combos.
The website is kinda overwhelming at first, it’s just packed with so much information. But I started to get the hang of it. I figured out how to sort the cards, look at the prices, and all that stuff.
One thing I realized is that this “Lost Caverns” set is different from the older Ixalan sets. It’s more about an underground world, not so much about pirates like the other ones. I thought that was kind of interesting. It gives it a different feel, you know?
My deck-building process, it’s not rocket science, but here’s what I did:
- Start with a basic idea: Pick a theme or a type of card you want to build around.
- Look at the cards: Find cards that fit your idea.
- Think about how they work together: Can you make some good combos?
- Write it down: Keep track of your ideas, what works, what doesn’t.
- Try it out: Actually play the deck and see how it goes.
So yeah, that’s where I’m at with this whole “Lost Caverns of Ixalan” thing. I’ve got a couple of decks I’m working on. They’re not perfect, but they’re getting there. I played a few games with them, made some changes. It’s all a process. But it is fun to play for sure!
I will keep working on these decks and see how they turn out. I might even try out some other ideas, there’s a lot to explore in this set, that is for sure!
