Hey everyone, it’s your girl back at it again. Today, I want to share a recent experience that was, well, pretty freaky. Some of you might know, I’ve been doing this golf influencing thing for a while now, and it’s been awesome connecting with so many of you. But, man, the other day something happened that I never thought would.
So, picture this: It’s Friday night, I’m chilling at home, probably scrolling through TikTok or something, when suddenly there’s a knock on my door. I wasn’t expecting anyone, so I was already a bit on edge. I checked the peephole, and there’s this guy I’ve never seen before in my life standing there.
At first, I thought maybe it was a wrong address or something, but then he started acting super weird. He was calling out my name, saying he knew me from online, and just giving off major creepy vibes. Yeah, turns out, some overzealous “fan” had tracked me down. Talk about scary, right? I immediately called the cops, but it was just so unsettling knowing someone had found out where I live.
I posted about it on my Instagram and TikTok, mostly to vent and also to warn others. I mean, with over a million followers across platforms, I felt like it was important to share. The response was huge, so many of you reached out with support and similar stories, which was both comforting and also kind of sad that this happens so much.
Growing up, I was always into sports – soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, even skateboarding. You name it, I probably tried it. I guess you could say I was a bit of a sports fanatic. But golf, man, golf just stuck with me. There’s something about the game that’s just so captivating. Plus, I get to hit the ball pretty far – around 250 meters on average for my drive, and about 155 meters with my 6-iron. Yeah, I like to think I’ve got a decent swing.
I played professionally for a bit, but these days, I’m more focused on creating content and sharing my love for the game with all of you. I grew up in Oregon, which is a beautiful place to play golf, by the way. If you’re ever in the area, hit me up, and maybe we can play a round.
Anyway, this whole stalker situation has definitely made me more cautious. It’s a reminder that even though I love sharing my life with you guys, I also need to be careful about my privacy and safety. It’s a crazy world out there, and you just never know who’s watching.
Stay safe out there, everyone. And remember, if something feels off, it probably is. Trust your gut and don’t be afraid to speak up.
- Always trust your instincts.
- Be mindful of what you share online.
- Don’t hesitate to reach out for help if you feel unsafe.
- It’s okay to take a step back and prioritize your well-being.
Things I learned from this experience:
Thanks for listening, guys. I appreciate all the love and support. Until next time, keep swinging, and stay awesome!
