I started digging around. First, I found a report from PWInsider Elite. It made me think, “Hmm, could it really be New Orleans?” Their report suggested that sources in Louisiana were pretty sure that New Orleans is the top choice for WrestleMania 42 in 2026. That got me excited!
Then, I checked out something from WrestleVotes. They tweeted that WWE might not do their usual press event in New Orleans during the Super Bowl weekend. This made me scratch my head. Why the change? It seemed odd to reconsider a big event like that.
I dug some more and found another bit from about those rumors. Apparently, there was talk of a WWE press event during the Super Bowl weekend in New Orleans, but it wasn’t set in stone. Things were definitely getting interesting.
Thinking about all this, I remembered that New Orleans has hosted some major WWE events before. They’ve got a great vibe for wrestling. The atmosphere is just so vibrant! It felt like it made sense.
While I was searching, I also stumbled upon some stuff about Roman Reigns and Sam Roberts. It seemed like there are predictions going on about who might be headlining next year’s event. That’s fun to think about, but it didn’t really help me with the location for 2026.
And oh man, I also got sidetracked reading about the Royal Rumble. That event is always a blast! It’s been around since 1988, one of WWE’s biggest events. But again, not what I was looking for.
