Okay, so I’ve been digging into this Baylor basketball preview thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a ride. I wanted to get a good feel for what’s up with the team this year, you know, get the inside scoop. I started off just poking around, seeing what people were saying about them.
First, I tried to find some detailed game previews, but honestly, that was kind of a bust. I mean, I found some stuff, but nothing that really gave me the kind of in-depth look I was hoping for. But hey, you win some, you lose some, right?
Then I saw some chatter about how Baylor managed to keep their head coach for another year. I guess that’s a pretty big deal. If you’ve got a good coach, you want to hang onto them, that’s for sure. Seems like a win for Baylor on that front.
- I also found out that last season, the Bears were in the mix with the Zags. Apparently, they were pretty tight in the rankings or something. I don’t follow basketball super closely, but it sounds like Baylor was holding their own against some tough competition.
Taking a look at the team
Then I figured, “Hey, the season opener’s coming up soon, November 4th, against Gonzaga, so maybe I should start breaking down the roster or something.” I’m not even sure who’s who on the team yet, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to start somewhere. This is gonna be their first game in the nonconference schedule. The Big 12 is tough competition, so this should be interesting to check out.
So yeah, that’s where I’m at with this whole Baylor basketball preview. I’m just trying to get a better handle on what to expect from them this season. I’ve got a little bit of info, but I’m still piecing it all together. It’s not like I’m an expert or anything, but I figured I’d share what I’ve found so far. Maybe someone else out there is trying to do the same thing, and this will give them a bit of a head start. Who knows?
