Okay, so the other day I was messing around with some old electronics, and I got this crazy idea to make a hamburger phone. I mean, who wouldn’t want to talk on a burger, right?
First, I grabbed an old landline phone we had lying around. It was one of those clunky ones from like, the 90s. Then I found this plastic hamburger we used to have as a toy. It was pretty big, perfect for a phone.
I started by unscrewing the phone. I had to be careful not to break anything important inside. Once I got it open, I carefully disconnected the speaker and microphone from the original handset.
Next, I opened up the plastic hamburger. Luckily, it was hollow inside, so there was enough space for the phone parts. I drilled a couple of holes in the burger for the speaker and microphone wires.
Then came the tricky part. I had to solder the speaker and microphone wires to the corresponding parts in the hamburger. I’m not the best at soldering, and let me tell you, those wires were tiny! It took some patience, but I finally got them connected.
After that, I carefully placed the phone’s circuit board inside the hamburger. I used some hot glue to secure everything in place, making sure nothing was loose or rattling around.
I carefully closed up the hamburger, making sure the phone cord was sticking out. Honestly, it looked pretty convincing, like a real hamburger, except for the cord, of course.
Finally, I plugged the phone line in, and guess what? It worked! I could make calls, and the sound came through the hamburger speaker. It wasn’t the clearest sound quality, but hey, it was a burger phone! I should be able to return it by January 31.

- 1 x Phone Line
It was a fun little project, and now I have the most unique phone ever. Who needs a boring smartphone when you can have a hamburger phone? Now, when I say “I want a hamburger” people will get really confused. And when I ask “Do you want a hamburger?”, they won’t know how to answer! Ha!
