Okay, so, I’ve been grinding in 2K24 lately, trying to get those nasty contact dunks. It’s been a journey, let me tell you. I started off just like everyone else, probably, just throwing up random dunks, hoping they’d turn into something special. But, nope, that didn’t really work out too well.
Then, I started digging around, you know, checking out forums and videos, trying to figure out what I was missing. And guess what? There’s actually a bunch of stuff you gotta have to unlock those contact dunks.
First Thing You Gotta Do: Check Your Attributes
- Driving Dunk: This is the big one. You need a certain driving dunk rating to even think about getting contact dunks. I boosted mine up to an 85.
- Vertical: This matters too. You gotta be able to get up there. I got mine up to around 80.
- Strength: Don’t sleep on strength. It helps you finish through contact. I focused on getting mine to at least 70.
Next Up: Badges Are Key
- Posterizer: This is the holy grail for contact dunks. I grinded MyCAREER like crazy to get this to at least Gold.
- Limitless Takeoff: This helps you start your dunks from further out. Super useful. I got this one to Silver.
- Slithery Finisher: This helps you avoid contact, but it’s still good to have for finishing around the rim. I equipped this one at Bronze.
Put It All Together
Once I got my attributes up and unlocked the right badges, I started practicing in the Gatorade facility. I just kept trying different moves, different angles, until I finally started seeing those contact dunks pop off.
It took some time, but man, it was worth it. There’s nothing like throwing down a nasty poster on some poor defender. So, if you’re struggling to get contact dunks, just follow these steps, and you’ll be dunking on everyone in no time!
It wasn’t easy. It took a lot of time. But I kept practicing, kept tweaking things, and eventually, I got there. And let me tell you, it’s a great feeling.
So, don’t give up! Keep grinding, keep practicing, and you’ll be throwing down those contact dunks too. Trust me, if I can do it, anyone can.
