Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get into collecting WWE action figures for a while now, and I finally took the plunge. I decided to start with one of my favorite on-screen personalities, Paul Heyman. He’s just so good at being a bad guy, you know? Anyway, I started searching.
First, I looked around at local stores, the usual toy places and such. No luck. Apparently, Paul Heyman figures aren’t exactly flying off the shelves, which is crazy to me. I mean, the guy is a legend! So, I decided to go online. There were a few options that came up, but many were out of stock or had ridiculous price tags. After going through tons of listings, I finally found one that was reasonably priced and in stock. It was one of those “build-a-figure” deals, which meant I had to get some other figures to complete the whole Paul Heyman figure. That’s fine, I was planning on getting more anyway.
Finding the Right Pieces
I ordered the figure and waited. It took a bit longer than I expected, but it finally arrived. Now, the real work began. I had to track down the other figures needed to complete the Paul Heyman one. So, I went back online and started hunting. It was kind of a pain, to be honest. Some of the figures were harder to find than others.
- The first piece I needed was his head, and it came with a Roman Reigns figure. Easy enough, I like Roman too. Got that one pretty quickly.
- The next one was his torso, and that came with a Big E figure. Also, not too hard to find. Snagged that one without much trouble.
- Then came the arms. One arm came with a figure of The Miz, which was surprisingly hard to find in stock. But eventually, I tracked it down.
- The other arm, though, was a real challenge. It came with a figure of, get this, “Gentleman” Jack Gallagher. Who even remembers that guy? I had to dig deep for that one. I finally found it on a small retail site.
- The legs were split between two figures: Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Got those two pretty easily, thankfully.
After weeks of searching and waiting for deliveries, I finally had all the pieces. It was time to assemble my Paul Heyman figure.
Putting It All Together
It was actually kind of fun, snapping all the parts together. A bit tedious, maybe, but satisfying in the end. And there he was, in all his glory, my very own Paul Heyman action figure. It wasn’t a quick or easy process, but it was definitely worth it. Now he’s standing proudly on my shelf, ready to advocate for the next addition to my collection. And maybe this whole experience was a good lesson, now I know what it takes to collect figures, and I’m ready for the next hunt!
If you are thinking about starting to collect, be prepared for an adventure, it will be fun!
