Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of hype around Shawn Ryan and his supplement recommendations. I figured, why not give it a shot myself and see what all the fuss is about? I’m always looking for ways to boost my workouts and recovery, so I was pretty pumped to try this out.

My Experiment Begins
First things first, I did a little digging. I didn’t want to just blindly start taking stuff. I watched a bunch of Shawn Ryan’s videos and looked up some of the things he talks about. I’m not gonna lie, some of it was way over my head, but I got the general idea.
I decided to start with a few things that seemed pretty basic and safe. I wasn’t about to jump into anything crazy right off the bat.
What I Started Taking
- Creatine: Heard tons about this one. Supposed to help with muscle growth and strength. Makes sense.
- Whey Protein: Another classic. Gotta get that protein in after a workout, right?
- Multivitamin:Figured this was a good, basic one. just your regular, run-of-the-mill men’s multi.
The First Few Weeks
Honestly, the first week or so, I didn’t really notice anything different. I was taking the creatine and protein after my workouts, and the multivitamin with breakfast. Maybe I felt a little more energized, but it could have been placebo. Who knows?
But then, around week two, I started to feel it. Especially during my lifting sessions. I felt like I could push a little harder, do a few more reps. It wasn’t like I suddenly turned into the Hulk, but it was noticeable.
Keeping it Consistent
I made a point to be super consistent with taking everything. Every day, same routine. I think that’s key with any supplement – you gotta give it time to work and be consistent.
After a Month :what happened?
I kept at it for a full month. By the end, I definitely felt stronger. My lifts had gone up, not by a crazy amount, but enough that I was happy. I also felt like I was recovering faster after workouts. Less soreness, less fatigue. That was a big win.
My Final Take
So, based on my little experiment, I’d say the Shawn Ryan supplement basics are worth checking out. I’m not saying they’re magic pills, but they definitely seemed to help me. I think combined with a solid workout routine and a good diet, they can make a difference.
Will I keep taking them? Yeah, probably. I’m happy with the results so far. I might even look into some of the other stuff Shawn Ryan talks about, but I’ll definitely do my research first. Slow and steady wins the race, right?
