Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “dual lands” thing in Magic: The Gathering, and I gotta say, it’s been a bit of a journey. I wanted to organize them by color, just to get a better handle on what I had and what I might need.

Getting Started
First, I grabbed all my dual lands. You know, the ones that can tap for two different colors of mana. I had them scattered all over the place – some in binders, some in boxes, even a few just lying around. It was a mess!
Then I just dumped all in front of me.
The Sorting Process
Next, I started sorting. This was the tedious part, but kind of satisfying too. I made piles for each color combination:
- White/Blue
- Blue/Black
- Black/Red
- Red/Green
- Green/White
- White/Black
- Blue/Red
- Black/Green
- Red/White
- Green/Blue
I went through each card, one by one, and placed it in the correct pile. Some of them were obvious, like the ones with clear names. But others, I had to double-check the mana symbols to make sure I was getting it right. No one wants to mess that up!
Realizations and Discoveries
As I was sorting, I started to notice some things. Like, I had way more of some color combinations than others. My Black/Red pile was huge, but my Green/White pile was looking pretty sad.
I also found some dual lands I had totally forgotten about! It was like a mini treasure hunt. Who knew I had so many of these things tucked away?
The Final Result
Finally, after what felt like forever, I had all my dual lands sorted by color. It was a pretty cool feeling, seeing them all organized like that. Now, whenever I’m building a deck, I can easily see what dual lands I have available for each color combination.
It’s not rocket science, but it’s definitely made my Magic life a little easier. Plus, it’s just nice to have things organized, you know? If you’re a Magic player with a bunch of dual lands, I highly recommend giving this a try. It’s a bit of work, but totally worth it in the end!
