Okay, so I finally got around to messing with Salvatore in Dragon’s Dogma 2. I’d heard some chatter online about him, so I figured, why not? Let’s dive in.

Getting Started
First things first, I booted up the game. Pretty standard stuff. I made sure my main pawn was ready to go – you know, good gear, decent skills. Didn’t want to get caught off guard. I then made my way to the location of the quest, easy to find.
The Actual Process
The quest itself involved a bit of running around. You know how these things go. Talk to this person, go over there, pick up some random item. Classic RPG stuff. I won’t bore you with every single detail, but basically, it was a lot of back and forth. The main thing is to follow the quest markers. They’re pretty good in this game, so you shouldn’t get lost.
I did encounter some goblins and a few other low-level enemies along the way. Nothing my pawn and I couldn’t handle. A few well-placed fire spells sorted them out quick-smart. Honestly, the combat felt more like a warm-up than a real challenge.
Dealing with Salvatore
The tricky part, or so I thought, was dealing with Salvatore himself. Turns out, he’s not really that tough. I’d heard some people say he was a pain, but honestly, I just wailed on him with my sword and he went down pretty fast. I think my level was a bit higher than what the quest intended, maybe? Anyway, it was pretty anticlimactic. He uses magic.
I used a warrior, so, you know, lots of swinging and hitting.
Wrapping Up
Once Salvatore was down, that was pretty much it. Quest complete! I got some experience points and some gold. Nothing too crazy, but hey, it’s all progress, right? The whole thing probably took me, I don’t know, maybe 30 minutes? Could be faster if you really rush it, but I like to take my time and explore a bit.
Overall? It was a decent little quest. Nothing mind-blowing, but a good way to kill some time and get a little bit stronger. If you’re looking for a quick and easy task, give it a shot. If you are expecting some epic boss battle… well, you might be a little disappointed.
