Today, I wanna share something I’ve been messing with – it’s called “chronicled wish”. I’m not even sure what it fully means, but it sounded cool, so I dove in.

First, I started by just brainstorming. What could this even be? A list of dreams? A diary of hopes? I jotted down a bunch of random ideas, mostly nonsense, to be honest. But it got the ball rolling.
Then, I decided to give it some structure. I figured I needed a way to organize these “wishes”. So, I created a simple text file. Nothing fancy, just a place to dump my thoughts.
Breaking it Down
I broke the “wishes” into categories. Stuff like:
- Short-term: Things I want to do soon, like, this week or month.
- Long-term: Bigger goals, maybe years down the line.
- Crazy Dreams: Stuff that’s probably never gonna happen, but hey, a guy can dream, right?
Next, I started filling it in. I wrote down everything that came to mind. Some were serious, like “learn a new language,” and some were silly, like “eat the world’s biggest pizza.” The point was to just get it all out there.
After that initial brain dump, I went back and refined things. I added more details to some wishes, deleted others that seemed pointless, and even reorganized a few into different categories. It was a mess at first, but it slowly started to take shape.
Making it Real
The key part, I realized, was to actually do something about these wishes. Just writing them down isn’t enough. So, for each one, I added a little section on “next steps.” What’s the first thing I can do to move towards this goal?
For example, for “learn a new language,” the next step was simple: “download a language learning app.” For “eat the world’s biggest pizza,” it was “find out where the world’s biggest pizza is.” You get the idea.
Finally, I decided to make this a regular thing. I’m gonna review this “chronicled wish” list every week, update it, and most importantly, take action on at least one item. It’s a work in progress, but it feels good to have this, like, roadmap of my hopes and dreams, even the goofy ones.

It is what I have done about “chronicled wish”.
