Okay, so I’ve been following tennis a bit more closely lately, and this Ruud vs. Tsitsipas match was one I was really looking forward to. I decided to actually track it properly this time, instead of just casually watching.

First thing I did was check the schedules. I wanted to know exactly when the match was going to start, so I wouldn’t miss a single point. I’m, like, super detail-oriented when it comes to this stuff (sometimes to a fault!).
Then, I grabbed my notebook – yeah, I’m old school, I like pen and paper. I set up a simple table, nothing fancy: one column for Ruud, one for Tsitsipas, and rows for each set. I figured I’d just jot down the scores as they happened.
- Column 1: Ruud
- Column 2: Tsitsipas
- Rows: Set 1, Set 2, Set 3 (if it went that far)
During the match, I was totally glued to the screen. Every time a game ended, I scribbled down the score in my little table. It wasn’t pretty, just numbers, but it kept me engaged. I noticed I was getting way more into it than usual, actually paying attention to the momentum shifts and stuff.
I felt I did a pretty good job! All in all, it was a surprisingly fun way to watch the match. Definitely doing this again. It made me feel more involved than just passively watching, highly recommended experiment!
