Okay, so I’ve been wanting a Tommy DeVito autograph for, like, forever. I mean, Goodfellas is a classic, right? “Funny how?” – iconic! So, I started this little mission to get his signature.

First, I hit up the internet. I figured, maybe he’s got a website or something where you can send fan mail. I spent a good hour just Googling different stuff: “Tommy DeVito autograph,” “Joe Pesci fan mail,” you name it. I found some forums where people were talking about it, but nothing really concrete.
My Search History Was Crazy.
- “Joe Pesci public appearances”
- “Goodfellas memorabilia”
- “Is Tommy DeVito on Cameo?” (He’s not, sadly.)
Then, I thought, okay, maybe I can find some signed stuff online. Like, on auction sites or memorabilia shops. I checked those out, and wow, some of those prices were insane! I saw a signed Goodfellas poster going for hundreds of dollars. That was definitely out of my budget.
I decided to get a little more creative. I figured, maybe if I found out where he might be doing appearances or something, I could try to meet him in person. I looked up film festivals, conventions, things like that. No luck. It seemed like he’s pretty private, which I totally respect.
So, I’m still on the hunt. It’s kind of become a fun little project, even if I haven’t gotten the autograph yet. I learned a lot about autograph collecting, though! It’s a whole world out there. I’m thinking my next step might be to try writing a letter to his agent, old-school style. You never know, right?
It’s all good, it feels to me like looking for a treasure.
