Alright, so last night, totally wiped, you know? Really feeling the zzz‘s hitting hard. But I thought, hey, gotta check out those newcards they dropped. Heard some noise about them, figured I’d see what’s up before crashing.

Fired up the rig. Took ages to load, naturally. Always does when you’re actually tired and just want a quick peek. Finally got in. Navigating the menus felt like wading through mud. Where did they even put the update info? Seriously.
Finding the Goods
Okay, found the section for the newcards. Looked shiny, gotta give them that. But getting them? Whole different story. Seemed like the usual grind fest or pay-up situation. Wasn’t really in the mood for either, being half asleep.
Decided to just try the free ones they give you, or maybe use some saved-up points. Process was clunky. Click this, confirm that, wait for the animation… ugh. Why do they make it so tedious?
- First card I pulled… meh. Looked cool, but the stats? Pretty average.
- Second one, bit better. Had this weird effect, kinda made a loud noise in-game. Not quite a howl, but close. Startled me a bit, honestly. Woke me up more than my coffee did earlier.
- Tried using it in a quick match. It was… okay? Flashy animation, sure. That loud effect got annoying fast though.
Was it Worth It?
Honestly? Not really, especially not when I was practically falling asleep. The whole thing felt like more effort than it was worth. The interface is still a mess, finding stuff is a pain. And that one card, the ‘howl‘-ish one? Probably gonna mute the game sounds if I use it again.
Ended up just logging off. The newcards weren’t exciting enough to keep me awake. Maybe I’ll look again when I’m less zzz. Or maybe not. Sometimes feels like these updates are just noise to keep you logging in, you know? Anyway, finally got some sleep after that.
