Well, let me tell ya, this WWE thing, it’s somethin’ else, I tell ya! I ain’t no big fan of all them fancy wrestling moves and them big ol’ boys throwin’ each other ’round, but I sure have heard folks talkin’ about the big WWE show that happened in White Plains. Folks was excited, real excited, y’know? The Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York, was packed up with folks from all over the place, all ready to see some of them big stars do their thing.
Now, I don’t rightly know who half of them folks are, but from what I hear, there was a whole bunch of big names that showed up. I know names like Cody Rhodes and Seth “Freakin” Rollins got folks talkin’. And I heard there was this LA Knight fella, too. Now, don’t ask me what that means, but them folks sure got riled up for him, somethin’ fierce! I think it’s all about how they put on a good show, you know, gettin’ the crowd all pumped up and hollerin’ for more. That’s the way they do it, huh?
One thing I do know, is that them WWE folks ain’t just some small-time wrestlers. This ain’t no backyard fightin’ in somebody’s barn, no sir! I heard it’s all owned now by a big ol’ company called Endeavor, somethin’ to do with UFC too. And now they’re all rolled up in this big ol’ company called TKO Group Holdings, I think. Must be a real big deal with all that money involved, I suppose. But folks in White Plains, they didn’t care about any of that, they was just there for the action!
The event in White Plains took place on June 3, 2023, and you could feel the excitement in the air! I heard the crowd was decent-sized, ’bout 5 thousand folks or so. I’m sure it was a sight to see, all them people cheerin’ and clappin’ for their favorite wrestlers. There’s somethin’ special about seein’ them live, I reckon, even if you don’t really know what’s goin’ on. Just bein’ there with all them folks, it gets the blood pumpin’!
Now, as for who was wrestlin’, I know there was some big-time names like Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, them women sure know how to put on a show too. And don’t forget about Bobby Lashley and Gunther, I heard they gave the crowd a real good show. There was even Carlito, now I don’t know much about him, but from what folks were sayin’, he sure knows how to work a crowd. And them New Day boys, too! Always a good time with them, I hear.
But it ain’t just about the wrestling, no sir. It’s about the whole atmosphere, the way the crowd gets all fired up. You could probably smell the excitement in the air, y’know? Like when you’re at a barn dance and everybody’s all happy and laughin’. They had a lot of folks showin’ up just to see who’s gonna win, who’s gonna be the big star, and who’s gonna get the biggest cheer. That’s what people come for, and that’s what makes it all so special.
And don’t get me wrong, I can see why folks love it. It’s a big ol’ show, with lights, loud music, and folks doin’ moves you ain’t never seen before. The energy’s high, and I guess it’s just somethin’ people love to get all hyped up about. You never know what’s gonna happen next, and that’s part of the fun, I suppose.
In the end, the folks in White Plains sure got their money’s worth, and I reckon they’ll be talkin’ ’bout that show for a long while. Now, me, I’ll just stick to watchin’ my soap operas and sittin’ out on the porch, but I can’t say I don’t understand why people get all excited ’bout this here WWE stuff. It’s a spectacle, that’s for sure!
