You know, that thing, “The Finals,” they got this season two coming. People been talkin’, waitin’. Time tickin’ away, like a clock on the wall, you hear? Heard somethin’ ’bout March 14th, that’s the day, they say. Thursday, I think. Mornin’ time, when the sun’s just creepin’ up.
They got this battle pass thing, season one ended, what, two days ago? March 12th, that was it. Now everyone’s itchy, waitin’ for the new one. Like waitin’ for the bread to rise, you know? You just gotta be patient, but your stomach rumbles.
- Heard it’s season two. Not the first rodeo, this one. Means they did it before, people liked it, I guess. Like makin’ jam again ’cause everyone ate it all up last time.
- Starts March 14th, remember that. Write it on your hand if you gotta. Don’t wanna miss the start, like missin’ the bus to town.
That “Chicago” place, they mentioned it. Don’t know what that gotta do with it. Maybe that’s where them game folks are, sittin’ in their offices, pushin’ buttons. Like them fellas down at the feed store, always fiddlin’ with the machines.
This season, gonna last a while. March to June, they said. June 13th, to be exact. That’s a good long spell. Like plantin’ seeds and watchin’ ’em grow tall. Plenty of time to get your fill, whatever it is you do in this “Finals” thing.
Countdown, they call it. Like waitin’ for the New Year’s fireworks. Everyone gatherin’ ’round, eyes on the sky. Anticipation, that’s the word. Buzzin’ in the air.
Folks always lookin’ for somethin’ new, somethin’ excitin’. Keeps ’em busy, I reckon. Like plantin’ a new flower bed, seein’ what colors come up. This “Finals” thing, must be colorful for them.
So, March 14th. Mark it on your calendar, if you got one. Or tie a string around your finger. Don’t wanna be left behind, when everyone’s jumpin’ on the bandwagon, whatever that is. Just know it’s somethin’ folks are lookin’ forward to.
Season two, comin’ in hot. Like a fresh batch of biscuits outta the oven. Everyone grabbin’ for a taste. Better be ready when they open the doors, you hear?
Remember that Chicago time, 7 in the mornin’. Sun’s up, birds chirpin’, and the game is on. For them folks who like that sort of thing, anyway.
