Alright, let’s talk about this Rey Mysterio fella and all them tattoos he’s got. I ain’t no expert, mind you, but I seen enough pictures and heard enough talk to tell ya a thing or two.
First off, this Rey guy, he’s a wrestler. You know, one of them fellas who jumps around in the ring and pretends to beat each other up. Seems like a nice enough young man, though. Always wears a mask, that one. Can’t say I understand it, but to each their own, I always say.
Now, about them tattoos. He’s got ’em all over the place! Arms, back, chest… looks like a dang roadmap if you ask me. But I guess they mean somethin’ to him, so that’s what matters.
One thing I heard, and it’s mighty sad, is that he’s got tattoos for his brother. See, his brother passed away, and Rey, he keeps his memory alive with them tattoos. That’s family, right there. Loyalty, they call it. Good on him, I say.
- He’s got tattoos for his kids too. Dominik and Aalyah, their names are. He’s got ‘em right there on his arms, big as day. Loves his kids, that’s clear.
- And them symbols on his shoulders? I heard they mean “strength” and “power” in some foreign language. For his son, I think. Wanting his boy to be strong, you know? Just like any good parent would.
This whole mask thing, it’s part of his wrestlin’ getup, I guess. They call it “lucha libre” or somethin’. Seems important to him, like his tattoos. It’s like his second skin, ya know? Can’t imagine he goes to the grocery store wearin’ it, though. Probably scares the little kids.
Rey Mysterio’s tattoos ain’t just some random scribbles. They tell a story, see? His story. About his family, his beliefs, his whole life, practically. That area code tattoo he’s got? That’s where he’s from. Reminds him of his roots, I reckon. And that “619” thing? That’s his special move in the ring. Imagine that, tattooing your work on your body! Kids these days…
He even got religious tattoos, I heard. Crosses and such. Guess he’s a believer. That’s good. Faith is important, especially in tough times. And from what I hear, wrestling ain’t easy. All that jumpin’ and flippin’ and gettin’ slammed around… Gotta have somethin’ to hold onto.
There’s this show, “Superstar Ink,” where Rey Mysterio talks about his tattoos. Explains what they all mean. I ain’t seen it myself, mind you, but I heard about it from my niece. She’s all into that wrestlin’ stuff. Says Rey went on there with some fella named Corey Graves and talked about his ink. Said it was real interestin’.
So, yeah, Rey Mysterio. Lots of tattoos. Each one with a story, seems like. Family, faith, wrestling, where he comes from… it’s all there, on his skin. Like a walkin’ picture book, that fella. And you know what? That’s his business. If he wants to cover himself in tattoos, that’s his right. As long as he ain’t hurtin’ nobody, I say live and let live.
Born in 1974, this fella has been around the block a few times, that’s for sure. And every tattoo, I bet, marks a moment in time. A memory, a person, a belief. It’s like he’s wearin’ his heart on his sleeve, only it’s his whole life on his skin. Can’t say I’d do it myself, but hey, I ain’t a wrestler. I’m just an old woman tryin’ to make sense of it all.
Tattoos meanings are powerful things, ya know? They ain’t just pretty pictures. They’re symbols. And for Rey Mysterio, them symbols tell his story. And that, I think, is something worth sharin’.
Well, that’s about all I know about Rey Mysterio’s tattoos. Hope it made some sense to ya. It’s a lot to take in, all them pictures and stories. But that’s life, ain’t it? A whole bunch of stories all tangled up together.
