Alright, let’s talk about Andre the Giant’s daughter, Robin. You know, that big fella, Andre? Yeah, him. His daughter, she’s somethin’ else, livin’ up in Seattle, Washington now. Big city, that Seattle.
She tried her hand at wrestlin’, you know, like her daddy. But, bless her heart, it just wasn’t the same. Andre, he was one of a kind. You can’t just up and be another Andre, no sir. She looks a lot like him, though, that’s for sure. Still fiddles around with that Titan Championship Wrestling folks. And she was in that movie about her dad, the “Andre the Giant” thing. Seen it? It’s alright, tells you a bit about the big guy and his life.
Now, listen here, ’cause this is important. Folks get things wrong, they do. Andre, he had a lady friend, Jean Christiansen, back in ’74. But they never got hitched, no matter what them internet folks tell ya. It’s all lies, I tell ya, lies! Andre, he thought he couldn’t have no kids. Said he wasn’t fertile or somethin’. Fancy word, that. Means he couldn’t get a lady pregnant. But wouldn’t ya know it, Jean, she got pregnant with his one and only baby girl, Robin.
- Andre had a daughter named Robin.
- Robin lives in Seattle.
- She tried wrestling but didn’t become as famous as her dad.
- She was in the documentary about Andre the Giant.
- Andre and Jean Christiansen were never married.
- Robin is Andre’s only child.
You know, Andre, he wasn’t always Andre the Giant. When he was a little tyke, they called him Dédé. Cute, huh? Like a little doll’s name. But he was a big baby, even then, born at 13 pounds! That’s a biggun, ain’t it? And he just kept on growin’. Had that giantism thing, they said. Made him taller than all the other kids. Way taller. He stood out, that’s for sure. Always did.
So, Robin, she’s got a bit of that giant in her, even if she ain’t as big as her daddy. She carries his name, and that’s somethin’, ain’t it? It ain’t easy bein’ the child of someone famous, specially someone like Andre. People expect things, they do. But she seems to be doin’ alright, findin’ her own way. Good for her, I say. Good for her.
And that’s about all I know ’bout Andre’s daughter. She’s a private person, not like these young’uns nowadays, always puttin’ their business on the internet. She keeps to herself, mostly. And that’s just fine, I reckon. Some things are private, they should stay that way. You hear me? Stay private.
Now, there’s another gal, Ariel Teal Toombs. Some folks get confused, think she’s Andre’s daughter or somethin’. She’s a wrestler too, and an actress, goes by Teal Piper in the ring. But she ain’t Andre’s kid. She’s Roddy Piper’s daughter, another wrestler fella. See? Easy to get mixed up, all these wrestlers and their kids. But Robin, she’s Andre’s girl. And that’s that.
So next time you hear someone talkin’ about Andre, remember he had a daughter, Robin. She might not be as famous as her dad, but she’s his kin, and that’s somethin’ special. Family’s important, you know. Even if your daddy was a giant. Family is family. And that’s all there is to it, plain and simple.
She’s doin’ her own thing up there in Seattle, and that’s good enough. Just like her Daddy, strong, that’s the blood of Andre runnin’ in her, yes sir, good stock that one.
