You know, I saw this young fella, Jacob Bridgeman, on the TV the other day, swingin’ that golf club like he was born with it in his hands. And I got to wonderin’, how old is this boy, anyhow? Seems like these youngins are gettin’ better and better at golf these days. Makes an old lady like me feel like I’m just sittin’ here watchin’ the world go by faster and faster.
So, I did some snoopin’ around, you know, like you do when you got nothin’ better to do. And wouldn’t you know it, that boy, Jacob Bridgeman, he’s still wet behind the ears! Born in 1999, that means he’s, let me see, do the math in my head… carry the one… he’s somethin’ like 24 or 25 years old. Can you believe it? Just a baby, practically.
Now, they say he’s from down South, you know, by the coast somewhere. I ain’t never been down there myself, but I heard it’s real pretty. Anyways, this young fella, he’s been swingin’ them clubs since he was a little tyke, I reckon. And he’s pretty darn good at it, too. They got him ranked all high up on some golf list, somethin’ called the OWGR. Sounds fancy, whatever it is.

Livin’ the dream, I guess. Good for him, I say. As long as he stays outta trouble and remembers where he came from.
