Well, hey there. Let me tell ya ’bout this fella, Madcap Moss. Or Riddick Moss. Honestly, these young folks with their fancy names, can’t hardly keep up! He’s one of them wrestler fellas, you know, the ones on TV, all muscles and tights. Big fella, I tell ya, strong as an ox.
I don’t know much about wrestlin’, mind you. Just watch it sometimes when nothin’ else is on. But this Madcap guy, he caught my eye. He’s been around for a bit, seems like. Heard tell he used to be called somethin’ else before, Riddick somethin’ or other. They change names like they change socks, these wrestlers.
Anyways, he used to be with another fella, Baron Corbin they called him. Kinda grumpy lookin’ dude, always scowlin’. Them two, they was a team, like peas in a pod, for a little while. Don’t see ‘em together no more, though. Wrestlers, they change partners faster than I change my mind about what to cook for supper.
- He’s strong, I’ll give him that.
- He bounces around the ring real good.
- And he yells a lot. Wrestlers do a lot of yellin’, seems like.
Now, I heard somethin’ ‘bout him doin’ one of them “virtual signin’s” the other day. You know, where folks pay money and he signs pictures or somethin’ online. Captain somethin’ or other was hostin’ it. Sounded fancy. These youngsters and their technology, I swear. Back in my day, you wanted an autograph, you waited outside the stage door, rain or shine.
He ain’t with that big WWE company no more, I think. Folks say he’s goin’ around doin’ his wrestlin’ in other places now, “independent circuit” they call it. Means he’s wrestlin’ wherever he can get a match, I reckon. Good for him, I say. Gotta make a livin’, right? Work hard, that’s what I always say. Work hard and don’t be lazy.
This Madcap fella, he seems like a hard worker. All that jumpin’ and grapplin’, gotta take a toll on a body. My knees hurt just watchin’ him sometimes. But he keeps at it. He’s tough. You gotta be tough in this world, whether you’re wrestlin’ in a ring or just tryin’ to get by.
I don’t know what the future holds for Madcap Moss, or Riddick, or whatever he wants to be called. Maybe he’ll go back to that WWE. Maybe he’ll keep wrestlin’ around. Maybe he’ll open a restaurant, you never know. Life’s funny that way, twists and turns you don’t expect. But as long as he’s happy and he’s workin’ hard, that’s all that matters, right? That’s what I tell my grandkids, anyway. Find somethin’ you like to do, and work hard at it. And don’t forget to call your grandma once in a while.
So yeah, that’s what I think about Madcap Moss. Big fella, strong, works hard. Seems alright to me. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go start supper. Got some potatoes to peel and some beans to soak. Ain’t no rest for the weary, you know.
But before I go, let me just say this: Madcap, if you’re readin’ this, keep up the good work, son. And eat your vegetables. That’s important too. Gotta stay strong, gotta stay healthy. And don’t forget where you came from. Even if you get rich and famous, don’t forget your roots. That’s the most important thing. Now, I’m really goin’. Y’all take care now. Stay outta trouble. And watch out for them wrestlers, they’re a wild bunch!
