Alright, let’s talk about this George Kittle fella, the football player. Heard he’s a big deal now, plays for the San Francisco somethin’-somethins. But you know, I ain’t here to talk about all that fancy professional stuff. I wanna tell ya ’bout his young days, back when he was just a sprout in high school. See, kids these days, they grow up so fast, next thing you know they’re on TV, runnin’ around like chickens with their heads cut off!
George Kittle, the High School Kid
Now, from what I hear, this George kid, he bounced around a bit in high school. Started out in Iowa, at some place called Iowa City West High School. Then he went to Cedar Falls High School, still in Iowa. Guess he couldn’t make up his mind, or maybe his folks were movin’ around like tumbleweeds. Anyways, he ended up in Norman, Oklahoma, at Norman High School. That’s where he really started makin’ a name for himself on the football field.

I reckon he was a pretty good player even back then. Big and strong, I bet. Probably ran faster than a greased pig, too. High school football, that’s somethin’ else. All them young boys, full of energy, bangin’ into each other like a bunch of wild bulls. Reminds me of when my Billy used to play, always comin’ home with bruises and scrapes. Kids these days, though, they got it all fancy with their helmets and pads. Back in my day, we just toughed it out.
From High School to the Big Leagues
So, this George Kittle, he played good in high school, real good. Good enough to get himself a scholarship to the University of Iowa. That’s a big deal, you know, goin’ to college on a football scholarship. Means you got talent, and you got brains, too. Can’t be just a big ol’ dummy out there on the field. Gotta know the plays, gotta know what you’re doin’. And this Kittle fella, he seemed to have it all figured out.
Now, they say he’s one of the best tight ends in the whole dang NFL. A “Pro Bowler,” they call him. Five times, no less! That’s somethin’ to be proud of. But you know, it all started back in high school, runnin’ around on them fields, learnin’ the game, buildin’ himself up. High school, that’s where it all begins. That’s where you learn about hard work, teamwork, and all that good stuff.
The Family Behind the Football Star
And you know, behind every good young fella, there’s usually a good mama. Heard tell Kittle’s ma, she’s real into fitness, even had her own trainin’ business. Probably kept that boy in line, made sure he ate his vegetables and got enough sleep. Used to have a blog, too, she did. Writin’ about her life, sharin’ her thoughts. Sounds like a smart woman, a strong woman. Guess that’s where Kittle gets his grit from.
Kittle’s Path Wasn’t Always Smooth
Folks say that Kittle almost messed up his chances at the NFL. Seems he was headin’ down the wrong path for a bit, but lucky for him, he straightened himself out. Put his foot down, as they say, and changed his direction. That’s important, you know, bein’ able to admit when you’re wrong and doin’ somethin’ about it. Takes a strong person to do that. And it sounds like George Kittle, he’s a strong one, both on and off the field.
Anyways, that’s the story of George Kittle, the high school football player turned NFL star. From Iowa to Oklahoma, then off to college and the big leagues. It all started with a young boy and a dream, and a whole lot of hard work. Just goes to show ya, anything’s possible if you put your mind to it. Now, I gotta go make some supper, this chit-chat has made me hungry.
