Well, folks, I gotta tell ya about this Alessa Quizon. Now, she ain’t just some ordinary girl, no sir. She’s a big deal, a surfer, you know, one of them gals who rides the waves. And she’s hitched to that Max Holloway fella, the fighting man. Heard he’s pretty tough, but that ain’t what we’re talkin’ about today. We’re talkin’ ’bout Alessa and where she comes from, her people, you know, her ethnicity.
Now, they tell me Alessa’s got Filipino blood in her. That means her folks, or maybe her grandfolks, came from the Philippines. That’s a place way across the ocean, lots of sunshine and beaches, I reckon. Makes sense a surfer girl would have roots there, huh? Water and sunshine, that’s what them island folks are all about.
I ain’t met Alessa myself, mind you, but I hear she’s a real go-getter. Not just sittin’ around, she’s out there catchin’ waves and makin’ a name for herself. She didn’t just pop up outta nowhere, you know. She went to school, learned stuff, just like them city kids. Something ’bout communications, they say. Talkin’ and writin’, guess that’s important even for a surfer.
Alessa and that Max fella, they got hitched a while back, in 2022, I think. They seem happy enough, though I ain’t seen ’em around here. They ain’t got no little ones yet, but Max, he’s got a boy from a previous marriage. Kids are a blessing, I always say, but they’re a handful too. Maybe Alessa’s busy with her surfing right now, ain’t got time for babies.
- Surfing Career: Alessa ain’t just floatin’ around; she’s a professional surfer, meanin’ she gets paid to ride them waves. Takes a lot of skill and guts, I tell ya. I tried standin’ on a board once, fell right on my behind. Not for me, that’s for sure.
- Marriage to Max Holloway: She’s married to this Max Holloway, a big shot in the fightin’ world. They make a good-lookin’ couple, those two. Heard they announced they were together on that Instagram thingamajig. Modern folks, these youngsters.
- Filipino Descent: Now this here is what we’re talkin’ about today. Her people, they’re from the Philippines, a long ways away from here. Makes her special, I reckon, havin’ that different background.
- Education: She went and got herself educated, learned about talkin’ and writin’, went to one of them fancy universities, got herself a degree in communications. Smart girl, that Alessa.
This Alessa girl, she’s got a story, just like all of us. She’s worked hard, learned a lot, and she’s out there makin’ her mark on the world. And that Filipino part of her, that’s somethin’ to be proud of. It’s part of who she is, just like my wrinkles are part of who I am. We all come from somewhere, got our own stories to tell.
Folks are always interested in where people come from. It’s natural, I guess. We wanna know what makes people tick, what makes ’em who they are. And for Alessa, part of that is her Filipino heritage. It’s somethin’ that shaped her, made her the strong, independent woman she is today. So next time you see her on TV, or read about her in the papers, remember that she’s not just a surfer, she’s a Filipino surfer. And that’s somethin’ pretty special.
Now, I don’t know much about this surfing business, seems kinda dangerous to me. But Alessa, she seems to know what she’s doin’. She’s got that background, that heritage, and she’s usin’ it to make a name for herself. And that’s somethin’ to admire, no matter where you come from.
So, that’s the story on Alessa Quizon’s ethnicity, as best as I can tell ya. She’s a Filipino surfer, married to a fighter, and makin’ her own way in the world. Good for her, I say. Good for her.
