Alright, listen up, y’all. We gonna talk ’bout this fella, Kirk Cousins, and that there Madden 23 game. Now, I ain’t no fancy gamer or nothin’, but I hear folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the store.

So, this Kirk Cousins, he plays football, right? Throws the ball and all that. They got him in this Madden game, and they give him a number, a “rating,” they call it. Well, let me tell you, some folks ain’t too happy ’bout it.
I heard tell he’s playin’ for the Atlanta Falcons now. Big fella, 6’3″ and 205 pounds, they say. But in that Madden 23, they only give him an 81, or somethin’ like that. Some folks even sayin’ it was 80 when the season started! Can you believe that? Tied for 22nd in the whole league! That don’t sound too good to me, no sir.
Now, I seen this fella play on the TV once, when I was visitin’ my niece. He seemed alright to me, throwin’ the ball all over the place. Even had a game where he threw for like, 500 yards or somethin’. Folks were yellin’ and screamin’, all happy-like. This boy was hollerin’ “you like that!”. Sounded like a good time.
- He plays Quarterback
- He’s 6’3″ and 205 pounds
- He plays for Atlanta Falcons now
- He used to play for Minnesota Vikings
But then you got this Madden game, and they say he ain’t even in the top 15 quarterbacks! That just don’t sit right with me. It’s like they ain’t payin’ attention or somethin’. Makes you wonder how they come up with these numbers, you know? Seems like they just pullin’ ’em outta thin air sometimes.
Some folks say he should be furious. And I reckon they’re right. You work hard, throwin’ that ball and winnin’ games, and then they give you a low number like that? It ain’t fair, I tell ya. It ain’t fair at all.
Now, I don’t know much about this “Ultimate Team” thing they got in the game. Sounds complicated. But I reckon it’s got somethin’ to do with buildin’ a team and playin’ against other folks. And if your players got low ratings, well, that probably ain’t good for your team, is it?
I tell you what, though. This Kirk Cousins, he seems like a good fella. Works hard, plays hard. And that’s what matters, right? Not some number in a video game. But still, it’d be nice if they give him a little more respect, you know? He deserves better than that 80 or 81 nonsense.
Anyways, that’s just what I think about it. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe I’m right. But one thing’s for sure: this Kirk Cousins, he’s a football player, and he deserves a fair shake, even in that there Madden game. And shoot, they even got a new Madden 25 out now! I wonder what his rating is in that one? Maybe they finally give him the respect he’s due, ya know? I hope so, for his sake. He’s a good ol’ boy, that Kirk Cousins, even if those Madden fellas don’t seem to think so.

So next time you playin’ that Madden game, or hearin’ folks talk about it, remember what I said. Don’t always trust them numbers. Sometimes, they just ain’t right. And that Kirk Cousins, well, he’s probably a whole lot better than what that game says he is. That’s all I got to say about that.
