I also heard them jabberin’ ’bout “odds” and “predictions.” Guess that’s like bettin’ on who’s gonna win. Seems like a fool’s game to me. Why bet money when you can just watch the game? But hey, folks do all sorts of strange things these days.
They were also sayin’ somethin’ ’bout the “surface.” Don’t know what that means. Maybe it’s like the ground they’re playin’ on? Grass, dirt, I don’t know. It’s all the same to me, long as they hit that ball.
They also talked about “match highlights.” Guess that’s the good parts of the game. Like when they hit the ball real hard or make a fancy run. Wish I coulda seen it, but I was busy milkin’ the cows. Gotta put food on the table, you know?
Folks are always talkin’ ’bout “latest results” too. Guess that means who won recently. Seems like Vukic is doin’ pretty good, winnin’ and all. Schwartzman, well, maybe he’ll do better next time. You never know in these games.
