Alright, let’s talk about this fella, LeBron, you know, the basketball player. Folks keep askin’ how many times he got hisself into them Finals games. Well, lemme tell ya, it’s a whole bunch of times. I heard tell it’s ten times! Ten! That’s more times than I seen the rooster crow this mornin’, and that’s sayin’ somethin’.
LeBron James, that basketball fella, he’s been in the NBA Finals a whole heap, like ten times they say. That’s a powerful lot of times to be playin’ for the big prize. You know, the one where they give ya that shiny trophy and everyone hollers and cheers. Must be somethin’ special, that Finals thing.
First time, they say, was back in 2007. 2007, that’s when my old Bessy cow had her first calf, if I remember right. LeBron, he was playin’ with them Cleveland Cavaliers fellas, and they went up against the San Antonio Spurs. Didn’t win that time, though. Them Spurs, they were tough as nails, I reckon.

But that didn’t stop LeBron, no sirree. He kept on playin’ and playin’, and he got hisself back to the Finals a whole bunch more times. Folks say his numbers are somethin’ else, especially in them playoff games. You know, points and rebounds and all that fancy stuff. I don’t rightly understand it all, but it sounds impressive.
They say this fella LeBron, he’s got more rebounds and assists than that other fella, Jordan. Now, Jordan, I heard tell he was a real good player too, but LeBron, he’s got him beat in some things. It’s like comparin’ apples and oranges, I say, but folks get all worked up about it. All I know is, ten Finals appearances, that’s a lot, no matter how you slice it.
Now, some of them times, LeBron’s team was the favorite to win, you know, like folks thought they were gonna beat the other team for sure. That happened in 2011, 2013, and then again in 2020. Favorited or not, just gettin’ to the Finals is a big deal, I reckon. It means you’re one of the best two teams in the whole league. That’s somethin’ to be proud of, even if you don’t win it all.

And speakin’ of winnin’, LeBron, he’s got four of them championship rings, they say. Four! That’s enough to wear on every finger of one hand, and still have one left over. That’s a lot of winnin’, even if he didn’t win every time he got to the Finals. It ain’t easy gettin’ there, and it ain’t easy winnin’ once you do.
So, there you have it. Ten times in the Finals for LeBron James. That’s what I heard, and that’s what I’m tellin’ ya. It’s a lot, like I said. A whole heap of basketball, and a whole heap of pressure, I bet. But that fella, he keeps on goin’, playin’ his heart out. You gotta admire that, even if you don’t understand all the ins and outs of the game.
Ten Finals appearances. That’s the number that sticks out to me. More than the points, more than the rings, even. It shows a fella’s determination, his grit, his stick-to-itiveness. And that, to me, is worth more than all the trophies in the world.
So next time somebody asks ya about LeBron and the Finals, you just tell ’em what I told ya: ten times. Ten times that fella went and played for the championship. That’s a lot of basketball, and that’s a fact.
And that’s all I gotta say about that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed them chickens.
