One year old, they say! Can you believe that? One year old and already holdin’ a racket. Dimitry, he’s been Kaylan’s biggest cheerleader ever since. Always there for him, pushin’ him, you know? Kaylan’s Tennis Learnin’ Place
Kaylan, he didn’t just learn tennis in the backyard, no sir. He went to a fancy place, a tennis school kinda thing, in Maryland. College Park, they call it. Junior Tennis Champions Center, somethin’ like that. Sound highfalutin’, don’t it? Musta cost a pretty penny. But hey, if you wanna be the best, you gotta learn from the best, right? That’s what they say, anyhow.
- Kaylan’s Heroes: This boy, he looked up to some big names, the real deal tennis fellas. Rafa, Roger, and Novak, he liked ‘em all. But Rafa, that Nadal fella, he was Kaylan’s favorite. Always watchin’ him, learnin’ from him, I guess. That’s how you get good, you watch the best and you do what they do. That’s what I always say.

Now, they don’t talk much about Kaylan’s mama. Not sure why. Maybe she likes to stay outta the limelight, you know? Some folks are like that.
