Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this WrestleMania start time thing.
Folks keep askin’, “When’s it gonna start? When do I gotta plop myself down in front of that there TV?” I swear, it’s like tryin’ to herd chickens! But I done heard some things, ya know, from the TV and such.
Now, they say WrestleMania 40, that’s the big one, right? They sayin’ it’s gonna be on two nights, April 6th and April 7th. And both nights, they start at the same time, 7 p.m. But that’s Eastern Time, ya hear? That’s over on the East Coast, like New York City and all them fancy places.

- WrestleMania 40 Night Two: April 7th, 7 p.m. ET
If you ain’t livin’ over there, you gotta figure it out yourself. Like, if you’re out in California, that’s three hours earlier, so it’d be 4 p.m. for you. And if you’re over in them foreign countries, well, Lord help ya, I dunno! I heard somethin’ about the Philippines, they gotta watch it at 7 in the mornin’! Imagine that, gettin’ up that early to watch a bunch of fellas wrasslin’.
Now, before WrestleMania, they got this other thing, the Royal Rumble. That one was back in January, on the 27th. They said it started at 8 p.m. Eastern, but they had some kinda pre-show thing an hour before that. You know, just a bunch of talkin’ and such, gettin’ ya all worked up for the real fightin’.
And they show it on somethin’ called Peacock. Sounds like a fancy bird to me. But you gotta pay for it, I reckon. Nothin’s free these days, not even watchin’ people beat each other up.
I also heard some talk about them changin’ the start time. Seems like they can’t make up their minds! One minute it’s 8 p.m., the next it’s 7 p.m. Just pick a time and stick to it, I say! Makes it hard for an old lady to keep track.
And then there’s this Superstar Spectacular thing in March. They say that one starts at 8 p.m. Eastern on March 7th. So many different shows, so many different times! It’s enough to make your head spin.
They had another WrestleMania last year too, WrestleMania 39. That one was on April 1st and 2nd. I don’t rightly remember what time it started, but it was probably the same as this year, 7 or 8 o’clock. They don’t like changin’ things too much, I guess.
So, if you wanna watch this WrestleMania, you gotta know what time zone you’re in. And if you’re gonna watch it live, you gotta be ready to stay up late, or get up early, dependin’ on where you live. Me? I’ll just watch it whenever they replay it. Too old to be stayin’ up all night for a wrasslin’ match.
But I gotta say, them fellas are strong, ain’t they? Jumpin’ around and slammin’ each other. Reminds me of when my husband used to wrestle hogs back on the farm. Now that was somethin’ to see!
Anyway, that’s all I know about the WrestleMania start time. Just remember, 7 p.m. Eastern for WrestleMania 40. And if you miss it, well, there’s always next year. Or you can just ask your grandkids, they probably know more about this stuff than I do.
