Alright, let’s talk about these WWE women wrestling tag teams, you know, the ones that go at it in the ring. I ain’t no expert, but I watch it sometimes when the chores are done and the grandkids ain’t botherin’ me.
So, they got this thing called the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Sounds fancy, huh? It’s like a shiny belt they give to the best two women wrestlers who team up. They say it started back in 2018, Christmas Eve, can you believe it? Like they didn’t have enough to do gettin’ ready for Santa. Anyways, any of them WWE women wrestlers can go for it, doesn’t matter if they’re on that Raw show or SmackDown, or even them new girls down in development.
Now, there’s been a whole bunch of these champions, you know, teams grabbing that belt and holdin’ on tight ’til someone else snatches it away. I can’t keep track of all of ’em, there’s been so many. They fight and scrap, and sometimes they win, sometimes they lose. That’s just how it goes.
- It ain’t easy, you know, bein’ a tag team champion. You gotta rely on your partner, gotta be there for each other when the goin’ gets tough. One of you gets knocked down, the other one gotta step up.
- And these girls, they ain’t messing around. They’re strong, they’re tough, and they’re not afraid to throw down. They got moves I never even heard of. They fly through the air, they slam each other on the mat, it’s somethin’ else.
- I heard tell of this girl, Charlotte Flair. They say she was the first one to ever hold a WWE Women’s belt, not the tag team one, but the regular one. And they say she’s won more belts than any other woman in that whole company. Seventeen times, can you imagine? That’s a whole lot of belts. She must have a big closet to keep ’em all.
And then there were these two girls, Asuka and Kairi Sane. They called themselves The Kabuki Warriors. Sounded kinda foreign to me, but they were somethin’ else. Them two, they held onto those tag team belts longer than anyone else. Someone said it was 172 days straight, or maybe 171, I don’t rightly remember. But they also held it for a total of 270 days when you add up all the times they won it. That’s a long time to be the best, let me tell ya. Though, WWE folks count it as 180 days, somethin’ about the TV shows being taped, I don’t get it. Anyway, those Kabuki Warriors, they were tough cookies, lemme tell ya.
It’s kinda like back on the farm, you know. We used to work as a team, me and my old man. He’d plow the fields, and I’d plant the seeds. We had to rely on each other to get the job done. And sometimes, we’d have our own little battles, just like these wrestlers. Not fightin’ or nothin’, but arguin’ about the best way to do things. But we always worked it out in the end. Just like them tag teams gotta work together, even when they don’t agree.
This whole tag team championship thing, it’s a big deal for these women. They train hard, they travel all over the place, and they put their bodies on the line. And for what? For that shiny belt and the chance to be called the best. It’s somethin’, ain’t it?
I reckon it ain’t all that different from us, you know. We all want to be good at somethin’, we all want to be recognized for our hard work. Whether it’s wrestlin’ in a ring or plantin’ crops in a field, we all want to feel like we’ve accomplished somethin’. And these women wrestlers, they’re out there showin’ the world what they can do. And that’s somethin’ to be proud of, I reckon.
So next time you see those girls on TV, flippin’ and flyin’ and slammin’ each other around, remember, they ain’t just fightin’ for a belt. They’re fightin’ for somethin’ more. They’re fightin’ for respect, for recognition, for the chance to be the best. And that’s somethin’ we can all understand, ain’t it?
And that’s all I gotta say about that WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. It’s a whole lot of fightin’, a whole lot of excitement, and a whole lot of tough women doin’ what they love. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on them chickens.
