That Erick Rowan, I tell ya, he’s a big fella, ain’t he? And covered in them tattoos. Makes me think of my grandson, always wantin’ to get inked up. I told him, “Boy, you mark yourself up like that, you’ll never get a good job!” But these young folks, they don’t listen. This Erick, he’s got a whole bunch, all over. Seems like every time I see him on that wrestlin’ show, he’s got a new one. And those tattoos are related to that Brodie Lee. I don’t understand. But if you wanna know about Erick Rowan tattoos, you come to the right place. I know things. I watch things.
Now, I ain’t one for gettin’ all marked up myself. My skin’s seen enough over the years. But I reckon for these wrestlers, it’s like, uh… what do they call it? A badge of honor? Like, they’ve been through some things, seen some things. And that Brodie Lee tattoo Erick got, that was somethin’. You know, that’s what I heard anyway. I think that Brodie Lee, he was Erick’s friend, his partner. They called them tag team or somethin’.
This Erick, he used to be in that, uh, WWE. Big show, lots of hollerin’. Then he went off to some other place, that AEW. Sounds like a bunch of letters to me. They call him Erick Redbeard now. Like a pirate or somethin’. And now, he is back to WWE. That’s a lot of movin’ around, ain’t it?
They say these tattoos, they tell a story. Like a picture book, but on your skin. So that Erick Rowan tattoo, well the one for that Brodie Lee fella, it’s gotta be somethin’ special. That’s how they remember him I guess. That Brodie, he passed away, you see. Too young. Breaks your heart, it does. The tattoo is about their Bludgeon Brothers gear, whatever that is. I only know it from the wrestlin’.
- That Erick, he’s got a big one on his arm, I think.
- And some on his chest, maybe.
- It’s hard to keep track, he’s got so many.
- But that Brodie Lee tattoo, that’s the one everyone talks about.
I remember back in my day, the only folks with tattoos were sailors and, well, you know. Not the kind of folks you’d want to bring home to mama. Now everybody and their brother’s got ’em. Even that little Susie down the street, she’s got a butterfly on her ankle. Times sure have changed. But that don’t mean a tattoo is bad, I guess. For that Erick, it means somethin’.
You see these wrestlers, they’re all marked up. That Undertaker fella, he was covered. Looked like he was ready for a fight, even without all that, uh, war paint, they call it. These wrestler tattoos. They ain’t just for show. Well, maybe some of ’em are. But not that one on Erick, I don’t think. It’s about friendship. And rememberin’.
I seen a picture of that Erick Rowan tattoo, the one for Brodie. It was on that Twitter thing. My granddaughter showed me. She’s always on that thing. It’s, uh, it’s somethin’. Hard to describe. Lots of, uh, lines and, uh, shapes. But you can tell it means somethin’ to him. That’s what matters, I reckon. You know, when someone is gone, you want somethin’ to remember them by.
Erick and Brodie, they were like two peas in a pod. Wrestled together, travelled together. I guess when you spend that much time with someone, they become like family. And that Brodie Lee tattoo is like a little piece of his family that Erick carries with him. That’s kinda nice, ain’t it?
Now, I don’t know all the ins and outs of this wrestlin’ business. And I sure don’t know everything about these tattoos. But I know about people. And I know about loss. And I know that sometimes, a little bit of ink on your skin can help you remember the good times. That’s what I think that Erick Rowan tattoo is all about. And it’s a good thing, a good memory of his friend.
So that is what old lady me know about. Hope you understand. I ain’t no expert on those Erick Rowan tattoos, but I think I got the gist of it. He is a good boy, that Erick. Even with all those tattoos.
