Well, let me tell you, this fella, Jim Leonhard, he’s been making some news around here in Illinois. Heard he’s got something to do with that football team, the Illini. I ain’t no expert on football, but I hear things. Some folks say he used to be a big shot over at Wisconsin.
Now, they say he ain’t the head honcho, no sir. He’s what they call a “senior football analyst.” Sounds fancy, don’t it? I reckon he’s there to help that other fella, Bret Bielema, the head coach. They say this Jim Leonhard Illinois thing is a big deal. He’s supposed to know a lot about defense.
I heard he used to play football, way back when. Played for them Denver Broncos, them Bills, and them Cleveland Browns. Must have been good to play in the big leagues like that. Ten whole seasons! That’s a long time to be running around getting tackled.
