So, what’s the right one? Well, you gotta pick that Rice and Millet, the third one. If you do that, Ichiban gets a boost to his, uh, Confidence. They say it’s like 20 points or somethin’. Makes him feel good about himself, I reckon.
Getting the Chef’s Name Right
Now, there’s this chef fella too, the one running the restaurant. They call him Obi in the game, but that ain’t his whole name. You gotta say his full name to get it right. It’s Obispo, see? Like, O-B-I-S-P-O. Remember that, it might come in handy.
And another thing, there’s this part where Ichiban has to deal with some hermit crabs. I don’t know why, but he does. He’s got this, uh, this octopus friend, Nancy. Yeah, an octopus named Nancy. Don’t ask me.
Throwing Nancy Just Right
Anyway, to scare those crabs away, Ichiban’s gotta throw Nancy. And you gotta do a Normal Throw. Not too hard, not too soft, just right. If you do it right, Nancy lands right in front of those crabs and scares ’em off. Good riddance, I say.
Poundmates and Money
They talk about these things called Poundmates. Sounds weird, but they help Ichiban out, I guess. You get more of these Poundmates as you play the game, doin’ other side things and whatnot. There’s this Kiryu fella’s memories and other stuff you gotta do.
But here’s the catch, these Poundmates, they cost money. Yeah, you gotta pay to use ’em. In that old Yakuza 7 game, you could use ’em for free at first, like a try-out. But not this time. From the get-go, you gotta pay up. Ain’t nothin’ free in this world, I always say.
