Well, let me tell you, that Olave boy, he’s in a real fix. I heard he got hurt real bad. He plays for that New Orleans Saints team. Heard he got his bell rung, real bad. Concussion, they call it.
This ain’t the first time, neither. He got hurt before, too, earlier this year. Now he’s gotta sit out. They put him on somethin’ called injured reserve on November 10th. Sounds fancy, but it just means he can’t play for a while. Poor boy.

They say he can’t play for at least four games. Olave injury, they call it. He’s a wide receiver, whatever that means. He catches the ball, I reckon. Heard it on the radio, they said he got taken to the hospital after that game. Saints lost that one, too. 23-22, what a shame.

I heard this one fella, Adam Schefter, he said Olave got a concussion. Said he got hit in the head real bad. Hope he got a good helmet, that’s all I gotta say. They say he’s okay, though. That’s the important thing.
This is his second concussion, they say. One earlier this year and now this one. Two in one year, that ain’t good. And now the Saints, they’re having a bye week in Week 12. Just means they don’t play. Gives ’em a little rest, I guess. But it don’t help Olave. He’s still gotta sit out.
They sayin’ this Olave injury could be week-to-week. Just means they don’t know when he’ll be back. Could be soon, could be a while. Just gotta wait and see. Head injuries are tricky like that.
Olave Injury: Season Over?
Some folks are sayin’ this might be it for Olave this year. Might not see him play again till next season. That’s a long time to be out. And for the Saints, that’s a big loss. He’s a good player, I hear, even if I don’t understand all the rules.
This one doctor, he said it could take a while to heal from a concussion. Said it ain’t somethin’ to rush. Gotta let that brain heal up real good. Makes sense to me. You only get one brain. Gotta take care of it.
I remember back when my old man got kicked by a mule, he was never the same after that. Hit him right in the head. Always had headaches after that. These head injuries, they’re nothin’ to play around with. This Olave injury is serious.

New Orleans Saints and Olave Injury
New Orleans Saints, they need this Olave boy. He’s one of their best, I hear. Now they gotta figure out how to win without him. That ain’t gonna be easy. They need to find someone else to catch all them balls. Olave injury sure makes it tough. Hope they got someone who is good at that wide receiver thing.
