Okay, so I’ve been hearing a lot about this lawyer, Jay Reisinger, lately. He seems to be getting involved in some pretty big sports cases, and I got curious. I decided to do a little digging of my own to see what this guy is all about.
I started by checking out some recent news articles. It looks like his name popped up just a few days ago, on July 9th and 10th, 2024, in connection with a baseball player named Wander Franco. Apparently, Reisinger is Franco’s U.S.-based lawyer. Then, I went back a little further and saw that he was mentioned back in August 2023, where it stated that Wander Franco had retained him. Hmm, interesting.
I also found out that Reisinger represents another athlete, Clevinger, because it seemed like a statement was issued from Reisinger that was related to him.
Next, I moved on to social media.
- Checked out Reisinger’s profile on X (used to be Twitter).
- His bio says he represents athletes in “crisis management, disciplinary proceedings”.
- Sounds serious.
Finally, I put all the pieces together.
What I figured out:
This Jay Reisinger guy is a big-deal sports attorney. He’s representing Wander Franco, a baseball player, and possibly other athletes too. He specializes in helping athletes with tough situations, like disciplinary issues and other crises. He’s been involved in representing Franco since at least August 21st, 2023, and most recently was mentioned in the news on July 9th and 10th, 2024.
I started this little investigation because I was curious. I read some news, checked out social media, and put the information together. Now I have a better understanding of who Jay Reisinger is and what he does. It was a fun little project!
