Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this Honkai Impact 3rd game for a while now, and let me tell you, figuring out who’s good and who’s not is a real headache. I mean, there are so many characters, and they all have these fancy battlesuits. So I started thinking, “Why not make my own tier list?” Yeah, I know, everyone and their grandma’s got a tier list these days, but I wanted to do it my way. So I started by playing the game, like, a lot. I mean, hours and hours, trying out different characters, seeing how they fight, and all that jazz.
First, I just jotted down every character’s name, you know, the ones I ran into while playing. Then, I started trying to organize them. How’d I do that? Well, I thought about how they performed in battles. Like, who’s the strongest? Who can take a beating? Who’s kinda useless? Stuff like that.
I read somewhere that this Kiana Kaslana character is like, the ultimate boss now. Apparently, she absorbed some Cocoon thing and now has the full authority of Finality. Sounds intense, right? Anyway, I figured she’s probably top-tier material.

Then I had to think about this whole Captain level thing. I learned that you gain these Captain levels by collecting something called Captain EXP. And, get this, each level needs more EXP than the last one. Sneaky, right?
So I started grouping characters based on how well they seemed to perform in battles. It’s not just about who hits the hardest, but also who can take hits, who’s got cool special moves, and who’s just kinda… there. You know what I mean? It was a bit of a mess at first, but then I started to see some patterns.
- Top Tier: These are the characters you want on your team, no doubt. They’re powerful, they’re resilient, and they just get things done. Kiana, for sure, was up here.
- Mid Tier: These are the solid, dependable types. They’re not the flashiest, but they can hold their own in a fight.
- Low Tier: Look, someone’s gotta be at the bottom, right? These are the characters that I just couldn’t get to work for me. Maybe I’m just bad with them, but hey, that’s why it’s my tier list.
I kept playing, kept taking notes, and kept tweaking the list. I even tried to create some unique teams, mixing and matching characters to see what worked. It was kinda like being a mad scientist, but with anime girls instead of, you know, beakers and stuff.
Eventually, after many, many hours, I felt like I had a pretty good handle on things. And that’s how I ended up making my own Honkai Impact 3rd tier list. It’s not perfect, of course, and it’s just based on my own experience. There are a lot of people who might disagree with my choices, especially since the whole community seems to have its own preferences on each battlesuit. It seems like this sort of thing changes a lot, too. I saw somewhere that a list was published on July 24, but I’m not sure how long that stays accurate. But hey, that’s the fun of it, right? Sharing your opinions, seeing what other people think, and maybe, just maybe, helping someone else figure out this crazy game.
