Okay, let’s talk about this “The Extortionist” quest in Escape from Tarkov. This one was a real pain in the butt, let me tell you.
Finding the Key
First off, I spent hours looking for this stupid key. The guides online weren’t very clear, just vague hints and stuff. I searched high and low, checking every jacket, drawer, and dead Scav I could find. Finally, after what felt like forever, I stumbled upon it in a random jacket in one of the dorm rooms. It was so frustrating, but the relief I felt when I found it was immense.
Getting to the Location
Next, I had to figure out where to actually use this key. The quest description gave a general area, but it was still a big place to search. I carefully moved through the area, avoiding other players and trying not to get shot by the Scavs lurking around. It was pretty tense, not gonna lie.
Retrieving the Package
Once I got to the right spot, I used the key to open a hidden stash. Inside was a small package, the objective of the quest. I grabbed it quickly and got the heck out of there. I didn’t want to stick around and see if anyone else was after the same thing.
Extracting
With the package in my inventory, I had to make my way to the extraction point. I took a roundabout route, trying to avoid any potential encounters. I knew getting to the extraction point is the hardest part of the task. After a few close calls, I finally made it to the extraction zone and got out of there safely. Whew, that was stressful!
Success
Completing “The Extortionist” quest was a real challenge, but it was also really satisfying. It required a lot of patience, a bit of luck, and some serious scavenging skills. If you’re trying to do this one, just be prepared to spend some time searching for that key. And, be careful out there!
