Today, I wanted to share my experience trying to find and listen to Cody Rhodes’ theme song, “Kingdom.” It’s a real banger, and I had this sudden urge to blast it on repeat.
First Try: Spotify
My first thought was, “This has to be on Spotify, right?” So, I opened the Spotify app on my phone and typed in “Cody Rhodes Kingdom.” Boom! There it was, listed under his name. I hit play, all excited to hear that awesome intro, but… it was just a regular track, not the full entrance theme with all the bells and whistles. Bummer.
Second Try: General Music Apps
Next, I figured I’d try some other music apps. I checked a couple of the popular ones, the usual suspects. I searched for “Cody Rhodes Kingdom” again, hoping one of them would have the full version. No luck. Same deal as Spotify – just the regular song, not the epic entrance theme I was craving.
Third Try: Specific Tracks
Okay, so I got a little more specific. I remembered seeing something about a full intro version somewhere. I started searching for “Cody Rhodes Kingdom Full Intro Entrance Theme.” I found a few options, and my hopes were high. I played them one by one, but each time, it was a letdown. They were either fan-made versions, remixes, or just plain wrong.
The Creation Process
Somewhere along the way, I stumbled upon some info about how they created the theme song. It’s pretty cool how they put it all together, but that didn’t really help me find the full version to listen to. It was interesting, but not what I was after at that moment.
