Okay, so, I wanted to listen to the Olympics the other day, right? But I was driving, so watching it on TV was out of the question. Then I remembered my car has SiriusXM, and I thought, “Maybe they have something for the Olympics?”
So, I started fiddling with the radio, browsing through the channels. First, I found this channel, 184, but it turned out to be some hip-hop radio station – not what I was looking for. Then I landed on channel 2, which was playing all sorts of pop music. I heard some Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and a bunch of other artists I know. It was cool, but still not the Olympics.
I kept searching and stumbled upon channel 211. Bingo! This was the NBC Sports Audio channel. They were broadcasting something related to sports, and I was getting excited. I thought this must be it!
- Channel 184: Some hip-hop station.
- Channel 2: Pop music with Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran.
- Channel 211: NBC Sports Audio.
I also saw channel 204 listed as play-by-play for live sports, like NCAA, NFL, and NBA. It seemed promising, so I tuned in. They were indeed covering live sports, but again, not the Olympics. I was a bit bummed out but didn’t give up.
I even found a page where you could search all the SiriusXM channels. But honestly, it was kind of overwhelming. There were so many options that I just decided to stick with what I had already found.
Conclusion
So, in the end, I’m pretty sure SiriusXM has a dedicated channel for the Olympics, but I haven’t found it yet. I did find some decent sports coverage, but I’ll have to keep searching for that specific Olympics channel next time I’m in the car.
If I find it, I will update it.
