Okay, so, I’ve always been a huge WWE fan, and Bray Wyatt? Man, that guy’s a genius when it comes to creepy, cool stuff. I got super pumped when I heard he was coming back at Extreme Rules. I knew I had to do something to celebrate, so I decided I was gonna make his new mask.
First, I started digging around for info. I watched a ton of videos and looked at a bunch of pictures, trying to get a good feel for what this new mask was all about. I found out that the same guy who made The Fiend’s mask, Jason Baker, was involved, which got me even more excited.
Then, I started gathering materials. I hit up a few craft stores and grabbed some clay, sculpting tools, paints, and all that jazz. I even watched some videos on how to sculpt, since I’m not exactly an artist. It was a bit of a learning curve, I’ll admit.
Next came the actual sculpting. This took a while, let me tell you. I started with a basic shape and slowly added details, using the pictures I found as a guide. It was messy, and I definitely made some mistakes, but I just kept at it. I worked on it for a few hours each day.
Once the clay was dry, I moved on to painting. I wanted to get the colors and textures just right, so I spent a lot of time mixing paints and experimenting with different techniques. I added layers, dry brushed, and even used some washes to get that worn, creepy * was tough, but seeing it come together was awesome.

The Final Touches
Finally, I added some finishing touches. I sealed the paint, added some extra details. Honestly, it took way longer than I thought it would, but it was totally worth it. Seeing the finished mask, it felt like a little piece of that awesome Extreme Rules moment was right there in my room. It wasn’t perfect, but I was pretty darn proud of it.
This whole thing was a blast. It was cool to connect with Bray Wyatt’s return in a creative way and learn some new skills along the way. Maybe I’ll tackle another wrestling mask project in the future, who knows? But for now, I’m just stoked to have this awesome piece to remind me of that epic night.
