Today, I decided to mess around with Anke Ohanian, just to see what it’s all about. I’d heard some buzz, so I figured, why not?

First things first, I poked around online to get a basic understanding. It seemed straightforward enough, a design tool, focused on… well, design!
Getting Started
I downloaded the software – pretty easy, no hitches there. Installation was a breeze too. My first impression? The interface looked clean, not cluttered like some other tools I’ve used.
Experimenting and Playing Around
- I started a new project, just a blank canvas staring back at me.
- Figured I’d try something simple, so I dragged in a basic shape – a rectangle. It snapped nicely into place, which I appreciated.
- Then I played with the colors. The color picker was intuitive, lots of options, and I could easily save my favorites.
- Next, I added some text. Changing the font, size, and alignment was all super smooth. No lag, no weird glitches.
- I tried out a few of the built-in effects, like shadows and gradients. They were easy to apply and customize.
- Exporting the project went without a hitch.
My Overall Thoughts
Honestly, it was a pretty smooth experience. I didn’t dive into anything super complex, but for a quick and dirty design session, Anke Ohanian seemed pretty capable. I think I’ll definitely be playing around with it more in the future. Seems like a solid tool for whipping up some quick visuals without getting bogged down in a million menus and options.
