Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Arknights lately, and I gotta say, figuring out which operators are worth investing in can be a real headache. I mean, there are SO MANY of them! So, I decided to create my own tier list, and let me tell you, it was a journey.
Getting Started
First, I started by just playing the game. A lot. Like, a LOT. I tried out different operators, experimented with different team compositions, and basically just saw what worked and what didn’t. This was the fun part, honestly, just messing around and discovering things on my own.
Research
But after a while, I realized I needed to get a bit more systematic. So, I hit up the usual spots online – you know, game wikis, community forums, you name it. I read through tons of guides and opinions, and watched a bunch of videos of people clearing high-level stages. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but I started to see some patterns emerge.
Categorizing The Operators
The next step was actually organizing all this information. I decided to group operators by their class (Vanguard, Guard, Defender, etc.) and then further break them down by their rarity (6-star, 5-star, and so on). This made it a lot easier to compare operators within the same role.
- Vanguards: I quickly learned that some vanguards are amazing for generating DP early, others are better at holding the line.
- Guards: So many different types! Some are pure damage dealers, others are more about crowd control.
- Defenders: Some are tanks, some are healers, some are…well, weird.
- And so on…
Making Hard Decisions
This is where things got tricky. It’s easy to say “Operator X is S-tier,” but what does that even mean? I had to think about what criteria I was using. Was it pure damage output? Utility? How well they synergize with other operators? It was a constant balancing act.
There were definitely some operators that were easy to place. Like, everyone knows SilverAsh is amazing, right? But then there were the borderline cases, the operators that could be really good in certain situations but maybe not so great in others. I spent a lot of time going back and forth on those.
Final Result!
Finally, after many hours of playing, reading, and agonizing, I had my tier list! It’s not perfect, of course, and I’m sure people will disagree with some of my placements. But it’s my tier list, based on my experiences and my understanding of the game. And honestly, that’s the whole point, isn’t it? To figure things out for yourself and have fun doing it.
I am not showing a picture of the full tier list. I might refine it more in the future, but I can say this, the S Tier are those very very very strong, and can carry you very far in the game.
And, If you are starting, please reroll until you get at least one good six star, it will be worth it.
