OK, so a few days ago, I got this itch to check out what this Austin Hubbard’s leg workout is all about. I mean, I’ve seen the guy’s name pop up here and there, and people seem to be all hyped about his leg routine. Figured, why not, let’s give it a shot and see what the fuss is about.

First things first, I did a bit of digging around. Watched some videos, scrolled through a bunch of posts, you know, the usual. Trying to piece together what his leg days actually look like. From what I gathered, it’s a mix of some classic moves and a few that I hadn’t really done much before.
Getting Started
So, the day came, and I was like, alright, let’s do this. I started off with a bit of a warm-up, some light cardio to get the blood flowing, and then stretched it out. Don’t want to pull anything, right?
Then, I jumped into the actual workout. It was like this:
- Squats: Had to do these, of course. Did a few sets, adding weight as I went. Felt pretty standard, nothing too crazy here.
- Leg Press: Moved on to these. Again, started light and went heavier. By the end, my legs were already feeling it.
- Hamstring Curls: These were a bit tougher. Had to really focus on not swinging and using momentum. Squeezed at the top of each rep, like I saw in one of the videos.
- Calf Raises: Finished it off with these. Did them standing and seated, just to hit the calves from different angles.
Wrapping It Up
After all that, I did a bit of a cool down, some more stretching. Man, my legs were jelly. But it was a good kind of sore, you know? Like you actually did something.
Now, a couple of days later, I can definitely feel it. Walking up the stairs is a whole thing. But I gotta say, it was a solid workout. I can see why people are into Austin Hubbard’s leg routine. It’s tough, but it’s the good kind of tough. Makes you feel like you’re really pushing yourself.
Would I do it again? Yeah, probably. Maybe not every week, but it’s definitely something I’d throw into the mix every now and then. If you’re looking to shake up your leg days, I’d say give it a go. Just be ready to feel it for a few days after!
Alright, that’s my two cents on the whole Austin Hubbard leg workout thing. Hope it was helpful for some of you out there. Catch you guys in the next one!
