Okay, so I’ve been needing some new shorts for a while, especially with summer coming up. I wanted something comfortable, good for being active, but also looked decent enough to wear out and about. I kept seeing ads for “PGA Tour” shorts, so I figured I’d give them a shot.

Getting Started
First, I needed to figure out exactly which PGA Tour shorts to even look at. They have a ton of different styles! I spent some time just browsing, reading descriptions, that kind of thing. I knew I wanted something with a bit of stretch, and definitely with pockets – gotta have pockets.
The Deep Dive
After browsing, I narrowed it down to a few options. It was mostly between their “flat front” and “expandable waistband” styles. I’m not always the best at judging sizes online, So I read a bunch of customer reviews, paying close attention to what people said about the fit.
- Some people said they ran a little big.
- Others said they were true to size.
- A few mentioned the material being lightweight and breathable, which sounded perfect.
Making the Choice
Based on the reviews.I finally decided to go with the expandable waistband style. I figured a little extra give in the waist wouldn’t hurt, especially after a big meal, you know? I picked a neutral color – I think it was called “caviar” – something that would go with pretty much any shirt.
The Result!
I placed the order and they arrived a few days later. I tried them on immediately, of course. And you know what? They were pretty much exactly what I was hoping for! The material was really lightweight and felt cool to the touch. The fit was good – maybe a tiny bit loose, but the expandable waistband made them super comfortable. I could definitely see myself wearing these for a round of golf (if I ever actually played golf, haha), a hike, or just running errands.
I walked around the house in them for a while, did some stretches, even sat on the floor to play with my dog – just to see how they felt in different situations. I wanted to make sure they wouldn’t ride up or feel restrictive. No problems there!
So far, so good! I’m really happy with these shorts. Time will tell how well they hold up, but for now, I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for something comfortable and versatile.
