Okay, so I wanted to figure out this whole Brighton Ajax prediction thing. I’m not a professional gambler or anything, but I like to dabble and see if I can figure out what’s likely to happen in a match. I’m a data guy, I like digging into numbers.

First, I started looking at recent games. Just straight up, who’s been winning, who’s been losing, and by how much. It’s the most obvious place to start, right? You gotta get a feel for the teams’ current form.
Then, I went a little deeper. I started checking out how each team performs at home versus away. Some teams are beasts at home but totally crumble on the road. It’s a real thing! I wanted to see if that pattern held true for Brighton and Ajax.
Scoring trends were next on my list. I wanted to know, on average, how many goals each team was scoring and conceding. Not just overall, but also, again, differentiating between home and away matches.
- Checked recent match results.
- Compared home and away performance.
- Looked into scoring and conceding trends.
My “Process”(If you wanna call it that)
It really felt like my way is research and I wanted to write it down, so here’s the way:
Basically, I just started gathering all this data. I didn’t use any fancy tools or anything, just good old-fashioned internet searches and a notepad to keep track of things. I looked at match summaries, news articles, anything that might give me a clue.
After looking at a bunch of stuff, I noticed a few things. It seemed like Brighton was pretty good at scoring at home, often putting up multiple goals. And Ajax? Well, they seemed to be letting in quite a few goals lately, especially in their recent matches.
So, based on that, I started to form an idea. It wasn’t a sure thing, of course, but it felt like a reasonable guess. I figured, “Hey, maybe Brighton will win by a couple of goals.” and saw that prediction of Brighton winning 3-1. that’s cool.
It’s not rocket science, I know. But it’s fun to try and piece it all together and see if you can get it right. At the end of the day I got my prediction.
