Okay, so, I got into this whole Brutus Magnus thing a while back. I saw these videos, you know, vignettes, they were playing on Impact! back in, like, late 2008. This guy, Brutus Magnus, was being hyped up as some kind of modern gladiator. It looked pretty cool, I gotta say.
So, I did some digging. I tried to find out more about this whole Brutus Magnus deal. Then, I found out this guy’s real name is Nick Aldis. Turns out, this Aldis character had been wrestling in other places too. I think it was called the National Wrestling Alliance, and he was a big deal there – a two-time world champion or something like that. He was also with TNA for a while before.

- I tried to imitate his wrestling moves, but that didn’t go so well. I almost pulled a muscle.

Then, a while back, I saw this news that Aldis, the Brutus Magnus guy, had signed with some new wrestling group – Global Force Wrestling, I think it was called. Seemed like a big move after all those years with TNA. I remember thinking, “Good for him, trying something new.”
Getting Deeper Into the Story
