Alright, so you wanna know about them Buckeyes games, huh? Which channel, you say? Well, lemme tell ya, it ain’t always so straightforward, like plantin’ corn. Sometimes it’s here, sometimes it’s there, kinda like a squirrel in the yard.
First off, gotta figure out which game you’re talkin’ about. Football, you mean? ‘Cause them Buckeyes, they play all sorts of games. Basketball too, like them young’uns runnin’ up and down the court. Makes me dizzy just watchin’ ‘em sometimes.
Now, for the football, that’s the big one, right? The one everybody gets all riled up about. I heard tell they got a game comin’ up with them Wolverines. Michigan Wolverines, that’s them. Heard they’re a tough bunch, but our boys, them Buckeyes, they ain’t no pushovers, no sirree. That game, I heard it’s gonna be on somethin’ called FOX. You know, like the animal, but it ain’t got nothin’ to do with chickens, I reckon.
And they say you can watch it on somethin’ called Fubo too. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Like one of them new-fangled gadgets. I ain’t got no Fubo, just my ol’ TV, but the young’uns, they know all about it. They say it’s a way to watch TV without all them wires and such, somethin’ about streamin’, like a river, I guess, but with pictures. Anyways, if it’s on Fubo, that means it’s probably a big game. The kinda game where everyone yells at the TV.
But see, it ain’t always FOX. Sometimes it’s on somethin’ called Spectrum News 1. That’s channel 1, they say. Easy enough to remember, right? Like countin’ to one. They show all sorts of games on there, even them high school games. Them young’uns playin’ their hearts out, just like the Buckeyes, only smaller.

Now, how do you know for sure which channel? Well, that’s the tricky part. They got these things called schedules. Like a list, tellin’ ya when and where the games are gonna be. You can find ‘em online, they say. On them computer things again. Or sometimes they print ‘em in the newspaper, if you can still find one of those. I still get mine delivered, keeps me in the know.
But even then, things change. Sometimes they move the games around, like rearrangin’ furniture in the livin’ room. So you gotta keep an eye out. Listen to the radio, they might say somethin’ about it. Or ask your neighbor, they might know. Folks around here, they love them Buckeyes.
And if you still can’t figure it out, well, just turn on the TV and start flippin’ through the channels. Sooner or later you’ll find it. Might miss the kickoff, but better late than never, I always say. Just like findin’ a good tomato in the garden, gotta search a bit sometimes, but it’s worth it when ya do.
The Buckeyes, they score a lot of points, I hear. Touchdowns, they call ‘em. And they got a fella named Jeremiah Smith, supposed to be a real good player. Runs fast, throws far, all that good stuff. Like a young bull in a pasture, full of energy.
This year, they say their schedule is packed. Lots of games, lots of chances to cheer ‘em on. And that’s what it’s all about, ain’t it? Supportin’ our team, win or lose. Though, I gotta say, winnin’ is a whole lot more fun. Makes the whole town buzz like a beehive.
So, to sum it all up, finding the Buckeyes game on TV ain’t always easy, but it ain’t impossible neither. Check the schedule, ask around, flip through the channels, and you’ll find it eventually. And when you do, sit back, grab a glass of somethin’ cold, and enjoy the game. ‘Cause them Buckeyes, they’re somethin’ special.
Remember what I said, now. FOX, Fubo, Spectrum News 1, and that * thing. And if all else fails, just ask the young’uns. They always seem to know these things. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my garden.
