Alright, let’s talk about this… uh… Bully Ray fella. I heard some folks yappin’ about him on the radio, somethin’ about “Busted Open Radio” they called it. Sounded like a bunch of fellas just sittin’ around jawin’, but hey, sometimes that’s how you hear things.
This Bully fella, they say he used to wrestle. And not just wrestle, but wrestle for some outfit called ECW. Now, I ain’t never watched much wrestlin’, too busy milkin’ cows and tendin’ to the chickens, but I heard tell it was a rough and tumble business back then. Folks beatin’ each other up, throwin’ chairs and such. Sounds like a Saturday night down at the saloon, if you ask me.
Anyways, they was sayin’ this Bully Ray fella, he worked for a man named Paul. Seems like this Paul was a big deal in the wrestlin’ world, the brains behind the whole ECW thing. And now they’re puttin’ this Paul in some kinda “Hall of Fame.” Well, good for him, I say. Work hard, do good, get recognized. That’s how it should be.
- Bully Ray, he seemed real happy for Paul. Said it was a “no-brainer,” whatever that means. Guess it means Paul deserved it. And that’s good. Like I said, hard work pays off.
- They also talked about some place called Philadelphia, said it was all tied up with this ECW business. Never been to Philadelphia myself, heard it’s a big city. Too much hustle and bustle for me, I like the quiet life, you know? Where you can hear the birds chirpin’ and the cows mooin’.
This wrestlin’ stuff, it’s a whole different world. They got their own lingo, their own rules. But it seems like even in that world, respect matters. Bully Ray, he respected his boss, Paul. And that’s somethin’ I understand. You gotta respect the folks who give you a chance, who help you along the way. That’s just plain common sense.
They also mentioned some other names, Roman Reigns they said. Another wrestler, I guess. And some gal named Brooke Hogan, seems like Bully Ray was hitched to her for a spell, then moved on to another gal named Brooke Tessmacher. Well, that’s life, ain’t it? Sometimes things work out, sometimes they don’t. You just gotta keep on keepin’ on.
This “Hall of Fame,” it sounds like a big to-do. They say the folks who get in there, they show up and give speeches. I reckon that’s nice, gettin’ to tell your story, lettin’ folks know what you been through. It’s like a harvest festival, only instead of pumpkins and corn, you got sweaty wrestlers and shiny belts.
So, yeah, that’s what I heard about this Bully Ray and this Paul fella. Wrestlin’ folks, always up to somethin’. But at the end of the day, it’s just folks doin’ their jobs, tryin’ to make a livin’. And that’s somethin’ we all can relate to, whether you’re slinging chairs in a ring or slinging hay in a field.
And that’s all I got to say about that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on them chickens. Them hens are layin’ like crazy these days, and I gotta make sure them eggs don’t go bad.
One more thing I heard, they mentioned somethin’ about this Bully Ray fella bein’ on somethin’ called “Impact Wrestling”. Sounded like another wrestlin’ show, I guess he kept on wrestlin’ even after that ECW thing ended. Must be tough on the body, all that jumpin’ and thumpin’, but I guess if you love it, you love it. Like me and my farm, it ain’t always easy, but it’s my life, and I wouldn’t trade it for nothin’.
They also said somethin’ about Bully Ray leavin’ TNA, whatever that is. Seems like there’s always somethin’ changin’ in the wrestlin’ world. Folks movin’ from one place to another, startin’ new things, endin’ old things. Just like the seasons, nothin’ stays the same forever.
Anyway, like I said before, that’s all I got to say about this Bully Ray and all this wrestlin’ talk. It’s a whole different world from mine, but I reckon there’s lessons to be learned everywhere, if you just pay attention.
