Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into optimizing my Chae, and let me tell you, finding the best artifacts has been a journey. I started out just slapping on whatever had the highest numbers, like most people probably do, right?

I went by recommendations. I began, and I mean began by looking around and seeing what was popular. For example, many guides suggest X, Y, Z, so I spent days looking for them
But then I started thinking, “Wait a minute, there’s gotta be more to it than this!” So I started experimenting. I grabbed a bunch of different artifacts with varying stats and, oh boy, did I spend some time in the training grounds.
My Testing Phase
- First, I focused on pure damage output. I equipped artifacts that boosted her attack and elemental damage, thinking that would be the key. And yeah, her numbers went up, but…
- …she felt kinda squishy. Like, one wrong move and BAM, she’s down. So I switched gears and tried to build up her defense and HP. This made her survive longer, sure, but her damage was, well, kinda sad.
- Then it hit me: balance! I needed to find a sweet spot between offense and defense. I started mixing and matching, looking for artifacts that offered a good mix of attack, HP, and maybe some elemental mastery thrown in for good measure.
- Finally, I spent the last 4 days testing the most promising ones, and after many, MANY attempts, I was able to find the best option for me.
It took a while, lots of trial and error, lots of comparing numbers and feeling out how Chae actually performed in battles. But I think I’ve finally cracked it. For me it is to utilize set A with substats B, C, D.
Remember, this is just what worked for me and my playstyle. You might have different results, and that’s totally okay! The important thing is to experiment, pay attention to how your Chae feels in combat, and don’t be afraid to try new things. Good luck finding your perfect setup!
